Dr. Rolle is focused on the issues District 65 residents raise most — practical solutions, not politics.
Expanding access to quality, affordable healthcare for working families in South Fulton and across District 65.
Job-skill programs, career technical education, and completing the Job Corps South Fulton site to connect residents to real careers.
Rebuilding citizen trust through transparent policy-making and responsible stewardship of public resources.

Dr. Gordon W. Rolle Jr. has called South Fulton home since 1976. A U.S. Air Force veteran and lifelong educator, his commitment to this community isn't a campaign promise — it's nearly five decades of showing up.
Since 1990, Dr. Rolle has dedicated his career to building workforce-ready skills for students and adults in transition. He and his wife, Dr. Sonia Francis-Rolle, have led aviation career awareness and job-skills programs in South Fulton that have produced NASA interns — connecting young people in District 65 to careers they never thought possible.
Off the campaign trail, Dr. Rolle has served as President of the Ponderosa Neighbor Association, participated in Fulton County citizen police and sheriff academies, advocated for government accountability at the local level, and helped build the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance Education Collective. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the FCRP and Chair for District 65 on the Georgia Republican State Committee.
District 65 isn't just where he's running. It's where he's lived his values for 50 years.
That principle is at the heart of Dr. Gordon W. Rolle Jr.'s campaign for Georgia House District 65. A longtime South Fulton resident, educator, veteran, and community advocate, Dr. Rolle is running to strengthen public trust, improve accountability, and expand practical opportunities for working families.
Dr. Rolle has called South Fulton home since 1976. His commitment to service was shaped by family, faith, and years of hands-on involvement in civic life. He served in the United States Air Force and the U.S. Air Force Reserve, and has remained active in community organizations, public-safety citizen academies, neighborhood leadership, and local beautification efforts.
Education has been his life's work since 1990. With advanced degrees in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, and teaching and learning, Dr. Rolle has focused on workforce readiness, job-entry skills, and pathways to long-term success for students and adults in transition. Since 2016, he and his wife, Dr. Sonia Francis-Rolle, have led aviation career-awareness and job-skills programs in South Fulton — producing students who earned internships with NASA.
One goal: an economically stimulated, patriotically united society — multi-cultural, intergenerational, mentally sound, and free speech encouraged. The campaign is driven by the goal of creating a united community that is inclusive, supportive, and accessible, where every individual is valued and empowered to contribute toward a strong and productive society.
This campaign was inspired by the need to promote unity and accountability among community members and local officials. Key challenges include political polarization, nepotism, industrial expansion without community input, and environmental impact without effective representation. Dr. Rolle is committed to creating more opportunities for homegrown businesses and ensuring broader access to healthcare and healthy choices for every resident of District 65.

His commitment to public service runs deep — his parents were outstanding members of both the Bahamian and Atlanta communities. His father, Rev. Gordon W. Rolle Sr., pastor of the Atlanta Alice Street Church of God of Prophecy, took an active role in the 1973 Bahamas Independence movement. Gordon's own political exposure began at age 18, assisting his father's election campaign in the Bahama Islands.
His military service includes roles as an airfield management dispatcher in the U.S. Air Force and air cargo specialist in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Dr. Rolle holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology, a master's in Educational Leadership, a specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a doctorate in Teaching and Learning. His doctoral thesis examined the impact of CTAE programs on dropout rates at a Georgia high school. His educational philosophy centers on lifelong learning.
He and Dr. Sonia Francis-Rolle lead Velaire Washington Enterprise International, an educational consulting organization supporting doctoral students and families navigating educational challenges. Their work includes aviation career symposiums connecting high school students to Hartsfield-Jackson and regional aviation industries, research into student job skills work-study programs, and service on the Atlanta Aerotropolis Alliance Education Collective board.
